1. Advancing Evidence-Based Nursing

Research is conducted using scoping reviews, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and meta-diagnostic analyses to advance evidence-based nursing, under the guidance of our laboratory director who serves as a JBI (Joanna Briggs Institute) director.

2. Integration of Patient-Generated Health Data (PGHD) and Electronic Medical Records

Advancing patient self-management research through the integration of Patient-Generated Health Data (PGHD) and Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) methodologies for elderly populations.

3. Bridging AI Prediction Models and Clinical Nursing Practice

Developing and validating artificial intelligence-based models to predict clinical deterioration in intensive care unit patients, with the ultimate goal of integration into clinical nursing workflows.

4. Enhancing Interoperability of Nursing Records

Mapping nursing records to standardized nursing terminology to improve cross-institutional connectivity and optimize nursing data utilization.

5. Advancing Nursing Documentation through Large Language Models

Conducting research on nursing documentation analysis using Large Language Models (LLMs) to reduce nurses' documentation burden, enhance recording efficiency, and improve the effectiveness of nursing record analysis.

Our research aims to drive innovation in nursing informatics, improve patient care, and support evidence-based nursing practice.
